Registration Information

Reservations
As reservations are received, the Alumni Office will send confirmation forms notifying alumni that their forms and payment have been received and are being processed. If reservations are made online, alumni will receive an e-mail confirmation form. Their weekend packets with tickets will be available at Registration in the Memorial Student Union Building upon arrival on campus.

Reservations Made During the Weekend
Walk-ins throughout the weekend will be accommodated as space allows.  We cannot guarantee that we can accommodate alumni who arrive at DePauw without having made reservations for housing, class activities, or general events during Alumni Reunion Weekend.

Registration Fee
The registration fee paid by each adult who registers for Alumni Reunion Weekend will help to cover various expenses of the weekend: rental of tables and chairs, decorations, student staff compensation, trolleys, staff overtime and correspondence/postage. Also covered by the registration fee are general events for which there is no charge: art gallery openings, complimentary coffee and tea bars, hospitality suites, etc.

Refund Policy
It will not be possible to refund money for cancellations received after approximately 2 weeks before the Reunion. This statement will appear in the Alumni Reunion Weekend brochure.

Finance and Budget
The structure of Alumni Reunion Weekend is modular, allowing alumni to customize their individual reunion experience.  Consequently, charges and fees are established for each activity.  The University does not subsidize or underwrite individual class reunion events.  Working jointly with the Development and Alumni Relations staff, the class committee will set the charges for each class activity.  Charges for general events (all campus events) are established by the Development and Alumni Relations Offices, exclusively.  All class events are self-supporting.  This is achieved by charging reunion attendees for the dinner, establishing a price, considering the following expenses:

* menu
* audio/visual equipment
* decorations
* entertainment
* favors
* gratuities
* tax

The Alumni Office will sign all contractual agreements undertaken by classmates on behalf of the reunion to ensure that committee members do not incur any personal financial responsibility.
