Volunteer with Classes and Reunions
Alumni Reunion Weekend wouldn’t happen each June without the support of reunion volunteers for each of the returning classes.
DePauw volunteers are the foundation upon which successful reunions are built and are integral ambassadors for the University, encouraging broad support and engaging your classmates in the many opportunities offered by DePauw.
Class volunteers are responsible for planning the social aspects of their reunion, as well as the fundraising efforts for their class gift. These individuals work closely with University staff to execute the following responsibilities:
- Communicating with their classmates via class letters, e-mail, etc., as well as maintain communication throughout the year with the staff liaisons from the Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving offices.
- Helping coordinate event planning with the Office of Alumni Engagement, such as making decisions regarding social logistics for your class dinner.
- Setting reunion program goals for dollars, donors, and reunion attendees in conjunction with your Annual Giving staff liaisons.
- Assisting in The Fund for DePauw solicitation efforts by cultivating new and increased reunion gifts.
