DePauw places
fourth at SCAC Championships; Romance earns all-conference honors
Nate Romance
finished fifth with a two-round total of 155 to lead the Tigers
to a fourth-place showing at the SCAC Championships. Oglethorpe
won with a 620, while the Tigers shot 645. Other Tiger finishes
included Shaun Watts in 15th with 161, Dave Allan in a tie for 19th at
163, Matthew Griggs in 27th at 166 and Richie Burgland in a tie for

Watts ties for 24th at Ohio Wesleyan Invitational
Competing as an individual at the Ohio Wesleyan Strimer
Invitational, Shaun Watts shot a second-round 77 to finish the
two-round
tournament at 161 and tied for 24th. Richie Burgland and Dave Allan
played on Saturday and shot 84 and 88, respectively.
DePauw places seventh at Wooster Invitational
The Tigers finished
seventh amongst 12 teams at the College of Wooster Invitational after
shooting a two-round 657. Dave Allan and Shaun Watts each tied for
22nd with 161.

Tigers finish seventh at Denison Invitational
The Tigers shot a 327 to
finish seventh at the Denison Spring Classic Invitational. David Gilles led the Tigers
with an 80, while Dave Allan and Shaun Watts shot 82. Nate Romanced
finished with an 83 and Richie Burgland had an 84. The
tournament was shortened to one round due to Saturday's weather.

Four Classic
DePauw shot a 338 to
finish 12 strokes behind Butler at the annual Big Four Classic at
Crooked Stick. Richie Burgland led the Tigers with an 81 which tied
for third.

DePauw places ninth at Camp LeJeune Intercollegiate
Led by Dave Allan
with a three-round 219, the Tigers placed ninth at the Camp LeJeune
Intercollegiate with a team score of 897. Allan tied for 13th followed
by Nate Romance and David Gilles in a tie for 35th at 226. Richie
Burgland finished with a 227 and Shaun Watts shot a 232.
Tigers win SCAC Eastern
Classic; Burgland earns medalist honors in playoff
Richie Burlgland fired a
two-round 149 and earned medalist honors at the SCAC Eastern Classic
at Sewanee after winning the the one-hole playoff over Sewanee's Ken
Tonning. Dave Allan shot a 150 to finish third.

sixth place showing at Powerade Fall Collegiate
The Tigers were
the top Division III school and finished sixth in
the 17-team field at the 54-hole Powerade
Collegiate. Dave Allan led the Tigers with a 234
followed by Richie Burgland at 236 and Shaun

Tigers finish tied for
fourth at Anderson tournament
Nate Romance and
Sean Lewis each shot a 159 to lead the Tigers to
a tie for fourth at the Anderson University
Invitational.
DePauw is tied for seventh
at Otterbein Invitational
Dave
Allan shot a 156 and Richie Burgland a 157 to
pace the Tigers to a tie for seventh at the
Otterbein Fall Classic.
Tigers finish seventh and
third at Denison invitationals
In separate
tournaments on consecuctive days at Denison, the
Tigers finished seventh and in a tie for third.
In the first day, Dave Allan shot an 81 and Shaun
Watts an 82 to lead the Tigers. During day two,
Watts led the Tigers with a 78, while Richie
Burgland and David Gilles each shot 79s.
Tigers finish seventh at
Olivet College Classic
The Tigers opened
the 1999-2000 season with a seventh place finish
at the Olivet College Comet Classic at the
Bedford Valley Golf Club in Battle Creek, Mich.
David Allan and Richie Burgland each fired 159s
to lead the Tigers and finish tied for 24th
individually. Shaun Watts and David Gilles each
finished with 161 and Nate Romance shot a 176.
