Junior Dave Allan earned all-America honors at the NCAA Division III Championships with a four-round 294 which was good for a tie for 14th place.

Allan earns all-America honors at NCAA Division III Championships
DePauw junior Dave Allan shot an even-par 71 in the fourth and final round of the NCAA Division III Championships at the Persimmons Woods Golf Course in Weldon Springs, Mo. to finish in a tie for 14th place with a 294. That finish was good enough to earn all-America honors.

Allan earns trip to Division III Championships
Dave Allan earned a spot in the NCAA Division III Championships as an individual. The championships, held at the Persimmon Woods Golf Club, Saint Charles, Missouri, take place May 6-10. Allan led the Tigers this year with a 76.1 stroke average.

Tigers finish second at SCAC Championships
Nate Romance won a one-hole playoff over Sewanee's Jack Fraleigh and finished with a two-round 146 to earn medalist honors at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships at Rolling Meadows Golf Course in Gosport. The Tigers placed second with a 595, just six strokes behind Oglethorpe. Sean Lewis all earned all-conference honors for DePauw with a tie for third at 147.

Tigers rally for third place finish at Wooster
DePauw shot a second-round 307 total a 635 and finish third at the College of Wooster Invitational. Dave Allan fired a 72 on day two to total a 152 for the tournament. Nate Romance shot a 77 on Saturday and finished at 158. Richie Burgland followed with a 162, Sean Lewis shot a 163 and Alex Walsh finished at 169.

DePauw finishes in fourth-place tie at Denison
The Tigers shot a second-round 303 and finished in a tie for fourth at the Denison University Spring Invitational. Alex Walsh and Nate Romance led the Tigers with a 152 each, while Dave Allan was one stroke back at 153. Richie Burgland shot a 157 and Sean Lewis a 158. Results

In the latest Golfstat Dvision III rankings, the Tigers are ranked 30th in the nation.

DePauw wins Manchester Invitational
Sean Lewis earned medalist honors with a 150 to lead the Tigers to a first-place showing at the Manchester Invitational at the Honeywell Golf Course in Wabash, Indiana. The Tigers shot a 299 on Friday and a 321 on Saturday for a 620 which was 16 strokes better than Olivet. Lewis shot a 73 in the first round and a 77 on Saturday. Dave Allan shot a 71 on Friday and finished in a tie for second with 154. Other DePauw finishes included Nate Romance (157) and Richie Burgland (159).

Tigers win Big Four Classic
Behind Dave Allan's 71, the Tigers took first at the Big Four Classic at Crooked Stick. DePauw shot a 299 followed by Butler with 308, Wabash at 347 and Hanover at 351. Other DePauw scores included Alex Walsh (74), Richie Burgland (75), Nate Romance (79) and Sean Lewis (85). Jeff Rogers played as an individual and shot 86.

Tigers place in tie for seventh at Camp LeJeune
DePauw finished in a tie for seventh at the Camp LeJeune Intrecollegiate with a three-round total of 897. Included in that was a school-record 274 in the second round. Dave Allan led the way with a 216 including a school-record 63 in the second round. Other DePauw scores included: Alex Walsh (223), Richie Burgland (226), Nate Romance (226) and Mark Ditto (230) 

DePauw finishes eighth at Jekyll Island
Dave Allan placed fifth to lead the Tigers to an eighth-place finish among 12 teams at the Golden Isles Invitational at Jekyll Island, Ga. Allen fired a two-round 149. Other DePauw scores included: Alex Walsh (154), Richie Burgland (157), Mark Ditto (166) and Matt Arient (176). 

Tigers win Sewanee Spring Invitational
Behind Dave Allan's medalist performance, DePauw won the Sewanee Spring Classic with a two-round total of 619 just ahead of the hosts' 622. Allan fired a 151 including a 72 on the second day. Other Tiger scores included: Richie Burgland (154), Sean Lewis (159), Mark Ditto (160) and Jeff Rogers (168).

DePauw freshmen ranked in Division III
In statistics maintained by Golfstat, the Tigers rank 21st in Division III in Freshman Class Impact Ranking. This measures the contributions of a team's freshman class relative to the rest of the team.

Tigers finish second at Anderson Invitational
Mark Ditto shot a two-round 151 to pace the Tigers to a second place finish among eight teams at the Anderson University Invitational. Alex Walsh shot a 154 followed by Dave Allan at 158, Matthew Griggs at 164 and Mike Bergeson at 170.

DePauw places fifth at Franklin Invitational
Matthew Griggs paced the Tigers with a 78 and Mark Ditto fired a 79 to lead DePauw to a fifth-place finish in the rain-shortened Franklin Invitational. Other DePauw scores included: Dave Allan (80), Alex Walsh (82) and Kris Riley (84). DePauw shot a 319, while Marian won with a 307.

DePauw ties for sixth at Denison Invitational
Paced by Mark Ditto's two-round 156, the Tigers finished in a tie for sixth at the Denison Invitational. Dave Allan shot a 159, followed by Richie Burgland and Matthew Griggs at 163 apiece and Matt Arient with 171.

Tigers finish sixth at University of Indianapolis Invitational
Behind three players shooting 79, the Tigers placed sixth at the University of Indianapolis Invitational at The Links in New Palestine. DePauw was actually tied for fifth, but the fifth player's score was used to break the tie. Matthew Griggs, Matt Arient, and Mark Ditto each tied for 20th individually with the 79 Playing as an individual, Dave Allan finished in a tie for 15th with a 77. Complete Results
