Moch named a Verizon Academic
All-American
Nate Moch, a 2003 DePauw University graduate and a resident of Eau
Claire, Wis., has been selected to the 2003 Verizon College Division Men's
At-Large Academic All-America First Team. The team is selected by the College Sports Information Directors of

Kennel and Moch earn honorable mention all-America honors
Sophomore Evan Kennel finished 13th in the finals of the 200 backstroke
in a time of 1:52.50 to earn honorable mention all-America at the NCAA
Division III Championships at Emory University in Atlanta. He place 12th in the prelims in 1:52.23. Senior Nate
Moch, who earned all-America honors on the one-meter board on Thursday,
was an honorable mention all-American after finishing 14th on the

Kennel places 22nd in 100 back
Sophomore Evan Kennel finished 22nd in the
100 backstroke in 52.66 seconds at the NCAA Division III Championships at

Moch an all-American; Kennel finishes 28th
Senior Nate Moch finished seventh on the one-meter board at the NCAA
Division III Championships to earn all-America honors for the first time
after garnering honorable mention twice in one-meter competition and once
on the three-meter board. Sophomore Evan Kennel finished 28th in the 200
individual medley in 1:56.13. Kennel will compete in the 100 back on
Friday and in the 200 back on Saturday. Moch will compete in three-meter

Moch and Kennel to compete at Division III Championships
Senior Nate Moch and sophomore Evan Kennel will represent DePauw at the
NCAA Division III Championships at Emory University in Atlanta, March
20-22. Moch, a four-time SCAC Diver of the Year, is making his third
appearance at the Championships and has earned honorable mention
all-America honors twice on the one-meter board and once in three-meter
competition. Kennel is making his first trip to the national

DePauw captures second SCAC title
The Tigers finished with 945.5 points and finished 202 points ahead of
runner-up Trinity on the way to their second Southern Collegiate Athletic
Conference title. Nate Moch was named the SCAC Diver of the Year for the
fourth straight year and Adam Cohen was selected the SCAC Coach of the

Tigers prepare for Southern Collegiate
Athletic Conference Championships
The 2003 SCAC Championships, hosted by
Hendrix College, will be held Thursday, February 20, through Saturday,
February 22, at Delta State University in Cleveland, Miss. Senior Nate
Moch has an opportunity to complete his career as SCAC Diver of the Year
all four years as he's earned the distinction each of his first three
seasons and has claimed six titles on the one- and three-meter boards. You

Tigers close out dual meet season with win at Rose-Hulman
DePauw finished the dual meet portion of the season with a 6-4 record
after a 158-81 win at Rose-Hulman. Evan Kennel broke his own school record
in the 200 back in 1:54.05 which also was an NCAA provisional qualifying
time. The Tigers took the top three places in both the 50 and 1000

DePauw loses to Indianapolis
The Tigers fell to 5-4 on the season after dropping a 157-141 decision
to visiting University of Indianapolis. Peter Beckett won the 200
breaststroke, while Nate Moch took a first on the three-meter board. Results

DePauw finished third at the Washington University Invitational. Complete results

DePauw improves to 5-3 with win at Illinois Wesleyan
Nate Moch set pool records on both boards to lead the Tigers to a
153-120 win at Illinois Wesleyan. The win lifted the Tigers' record to 5-3

Tigers beat Wabash 145-98
DePauw took firsts in eight events on the way to a 145-98 win at Wabash.
Evan Kennel won both the 200 free and 200 back and his time of 1:54.65 in
the 200 back was an NCAA provisional time and a school record. Nate Moch
won both one- and three-meter diving and his score on the three-meter
board was another NCAA qualifying score. Other DePauw winners included
Josh Heisler in the 50 free, Peter Beckette in the 200 IM and Josh Heisler
in the 100 free and the 400 free relay. Results

Tigers place fifth at Wabash Invitational
Nate Moch led the Tigers with 37 points with a meet-record win on the
three-meter board and placed second in one-meter competition. Josh
Heisler finished with 31 points by finishing fourth in the 100 free,
seventh in the 50 free and 13th in the 100 fly. Jonathan Enenbach placed
fourth in one-meter diving and fifth on the three-meter board. Complete results

DePauw loses to Wheaton, 124-113
The Tigers slipped to 3-3 on the season after a 124-113 loss at the
Erdmann Natatorium. Nate Moch took first in both one- and three-meter
diving, while Chris Frankel won the 1000 in 10:32.53 and Josh Heisler
took the 50 free in 22.10. Results
Tigers fall to Washington, 158-85
Nate Moch notched "B" cuts on both the one and three-meter boards, but
visiting Washington University came away with a 158-85 victory over
DePauw. Evan Kennel took first in the 200 back and Peter Beckette won

DePauw completed a weekend sweep with a 180-30 win over
