The Tigers finished the 2000-01 season ranked 16th in NCAA Division
III play and fourth in the Central Region. Individually, Scott Fisk was
ranked 46th in singles and the double team of Fisk and Matt Baird finished
15th in the nation.

DePauw hosts Division III Championships
Fisk and Baird
fall in first round
The Tigers' number-one doubles team of Scott Fisk and Matt Baird
competed at the NCAA Division III Championships, hosted by DePauw, and
lost their first-round match to fourth-seeded Rosty Orach and Richard
Lawrence of Trinity (Conn.) 6-3, 3-6, 6-3. The duo finished the season
with a 16-4 doubles record.

team earns spot in NCAA field; Fisk is alternate in singles
DePauw's doubles team of junior Scott Fisk and senior Matt Baird have
earned a spot in the NCAA Division III doubles Championship at DePauw.
Doubles play begins with the round of 16 on Monday, May 21. Fisk was also
chosen as an alternate in singles play.
DePauw falls to
Kalamazoo in NCAA round of 16; await word on possible singles and doubles
participants
The Tigers' season came to an end at Kalamazoo College where DePauw
lost to the Hornets by a 6-1 score in the second round of the NCAA
Division III Championships. The Tigers finished the season at 15-8.
Selections for the singles and doubles draw will be announced on Monday.

Tigers advance
to NCAA round of 16 with 5-2 win over Denison
The Tigers avenged an earlier loss to Denison University with a 5-2
win in an NCAA Division III Central Region first round match. The Tigers
take on host Kalamazoo at Noon EDT on Sunday. Kalamazoo defeated
Wisconsin-Oshkosh 7-0. The winner of Sunday's match advances to the
NCAA
Championship quarterfinals hosted by DePauw.

DePauw earns
spot in NCAA Championships
DePauw was one of 27 teams selected to compete in the NCAA Division
III Championships and will open regional play on Saturday, May 12, against
Denison University at Kalamazoo College. Match time is either 10 a.m. or 1
p.m. The winner of that match takes on the winner of Saturday's match
between Kalamazoo and Wisconsin-Oshkosh on Sunday. That winner moves on to
the national quarterfinals at DePauw on Friday, May 18.

Tigers fall to
12-6 with 6-1 loss to Vincennes
Visiting Vincennes won all six singles matches and DePauw earned the
doubles point with wins at the first and third spots.

The Tigers won all three doubles matches and four of the six singles
flights on the way to a 5-2 win over visiting Wittenberg.

The Tigers lost at home for the first time this season in falling to
Coe College by a 4-3 score.

GLCA Championships
The Tigers
defeated the College
of Wooster 5-2 in the consolation finals of the Great Lakes Colleges
Association Championships to finish third. The Tigers
topped Albion in the
first match by a 7-0 score and
lost to Denison 5-2 in the
semifinals.
Tigers win final two matches of spring trip
DePauw improved to 9-3 on the season with a 6-1 win over Carnegie
Mellon and a 5-2 victory over Middlebury. Both matches were played on
Hilton Head Island, S.C.

10th-ranked DePauw falls at fifth-ranked Emory
Host Emory won all three doubles matches to earn the doubles points
and took three singles matches in winning the match over the 10th-ranked
Tigers 4-0.

DePauw topped Taylor 7-0 on Thursday and Wheaton by the same score on
Saturday to improve to 7-2 on the season.

Tigers split weekend matches
DePauw defeated
Principia 6-1 before falling to
Washington (Mo.) 5-2
in weekend play. Against Principia, the Tigers won all three doubles
matches and second through sixth singles. In the Washington match, they
took number one doubles as well as one and two singles.

Hanover 7-0
The Tigers won all nine matches on the way to a 7-0 win over visiting
Hanover.

DePauw tops Kenyon and Southwestern
The Tigers completed their weekend sweep with a
5-2
win over Kenyon and a
7-0 blanking of
Southwestern. DePauw, ranked 10th in Division III, is 3-1 on the
spring campaign.
Tigers blank Chicago 7-0
DePauw took all three doubles
matches and won the six singles flights in straight sets on the way to a
7-0 win over visiting University of Chicago.
