September 1, 2009, Indianapolis, Ind. — DePauw opened the 2009 season with a 3-0 (25-20, 25-19, 25-12) win at Marian. The Knights dropped to 2-3 with the loss.
Katey Larson and Sajel Tremblay each had six kills for the Tigers, while Ali Smith totaled 19 assists. Kylee Lehrman recorded eight service aces with Madison Hoenig adding 10 digs and Kristen Chynoweth leading with four blocks.
DePauw returns to action on September 4-5 when it competes in the Capital University Invitational.
