October 17, 2009, Oshkosh, Wis. — DePauw totaled 327 points and finished 11th among the 35 teams at the Brooks Invitational, hosted by Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
North Central won with 22 points, while Wisconsin-Stevens Point was second with 97 and Augustana third with 151. Bethel University's Dan Greeno was the top individual with a time of 24:16.
Joe Evans led the Tigers by finishing in 59th place in 25:30, while Nick Pucillo was in 66th in 25:32 and Pete Richard finished in 68th in 25:33.
Noah Droddy placed 97th in 25:49 followed by Zack Weinberg in 102nd in 25:51, Steve Clark in 147th in 26:15 and Tyler Giesting in 182nd in 26:30.
The Tigers return to action on Saturday, October 31, when they compete in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference in Atlanta.
