October 17, 2009, Oshkosh, Wis. — The 25th-ranked Tigers totaled 140 points and finished fourth among 34 teams at the Brooks Invitational hosted by Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Calvin won with 80 points followed by Washington-St. Louis with 93 and Minnesota-Duluth with 98.
Lauren Reich was DePauw's top finisher in fifth place in 21:01.43, while Jess Macy was 17th in 22:04.92, Claire Hollis was 18th in 22:05.30 and Ellen Mail 19th in 22:06.16.
Melissa Buckley finished 87th in 23:21.07 followed by Julie Southworth in 135th in 23:49.12 and Alana DeWitt in 176th in 24:12.13. Wisconsin-Oshkosh's Ayla Mitcehll won in 20:28.52.
DePauw returns to action on Saturday, October 31, when it competes in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships in Atlanta.
