October 17, 2009, Oberlin, Ohio — Katie Sowar, Lauren Castagno and Bridgette Shamleffer each scored two goals and Addie McDonnell added one in DePauw's 7-0 win at Oberlin. The Tigers improved to 9-5, while the Yeowomen dropped to 1-9.
Castagno and Caroline Torie each added two assists and Kimberly Trainor one in the win. Castagno started the scoring just 34 seconds into the game as the Tigers held a 4-0 halftime lead.
Liz Attewell recorded two saves in posting the shutout for DePauw, while Oberlin's Emily Bigelow had 17 saves.
DePauw held a 24-5 advantage in shots and each team had 10 penalty corners.
The Tigers travel to Wooster on Sunday.
