October 23, 2009, Memphis, Tenn. — Host Rhodes scored twice in the first half and it held up in a 2-0 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference win over DePauw. The Tigers dropped to 9-7 overall and 3-3 in the conference, while the Lynx improved to 9-4 overall and 5-1 in SCAC play.
Sarah Kennedy scored just two minutes into the game on Lindsey Gurkovich's assist. Gurkovich then scored at 22:50 with an assist from Chelsea McLeod.
Rhodes held an 11-3 advantage in shots and an 8-1 margin in penalty corners. Liz Attewell posted one save in goal for the Tigers, while Valerie Clarke had one in recording the shutout.
DePauw travels to Hendrix for a Sunday SCAC contest.
