October 25, 2009, Decatur, Ill. — Andrew Desmarais (left) scored the game's lone goal on an assist from Chris Taljan with just 1:48 remaining and gave DePauw a 1-0 win at Millikin.
The Tigers improved to 9-4-1 with the win and clinched their 28th straight .500 or better season, while the Big Blue dropped to 5-12-1.
DePauw held a 19-7 edge in shots and a 9-3 margin in corners. Nate Sprenkel recorded the shutout for the Tigers with three saves, while Derrek Schwartz had five stops for Millikin.
The Tigers host Rose-Hulman on Tuesday, October 27, at 8 p.m.
