October 27, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. —Julia Drummond scored both DePauw goals including the game-winner in overtime as the host Tigers took a 2-1 win over Rose-Hulman at Boswell Field. DePauw improved to 6-6-4 with the victory, while the Engineers dropped to 7-9.
Drummond (left) put the Tigers ahead at 40:42 before Rose-Hulman's Molly Richardson knotted the score at 1-1 with just 2:46 left in regulation. Drummond ended the game just 2:04 into the first overtime.
DePauw held an 18-2 advantage in shots and a 6-0 margin in corners. DePauw's Lauren Palfrey didn't allow a goal in the first half and overtime, while Caroline Kerr recorded a second-half save. Rose-Hulman's Julie Brennan totaled three saves in the loss.
The Tigers return to Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play on Friday when they host Millsaps at 6 p.m.
