October 30, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — DePauw scored two goals in the opening 15 minutes and took a 3-0 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference win over Millsaps on a water-logged Boswell Field.
Andrew Desmarais delivered the eventual game-winning goal just 7:14 into the contest on Brian Lawless' assist. Matt Schoenfeld the scored at 14:32 on an assist from Gary Pett (left) and Chris Lee. Pett then rounded out the scoring at 75:12 with an unassisted score.
DePauw held a 10-2 advantage in shots and totaled four corners to the Majors' three. Nate Sprenkel recorded the shutout and totaled one save. Dylan Broussard finished with one save for Millsaps.
The Tigers return to action on Sunday when they host Birmingham-Southern at Noon.
