September 7, 2008, Anderson, Ind. - Fifth-ranked DePauw shot a two-round 630 including a 306 in the opening round and finished second at the Anderson Invitational. Olivet won with a 622 after trailing DePauw by a stroke after the first day.
DePauw's Nikki Garza finished second with a 153, while Natalie Gough tied for fifth with a 158 and equaled a tournament-best 74 in the first round.
Erin Kielty finished eighth with a 160 followed by Meagan Hayes in ninth with a 162 and Taylor Beaty tied for 10th with a 166. Olivet's Amber Conrad was the medalist with a 151.
DePauw returns to action on September 20-21 at the Illinois Wesleyan Fall Classic in Normal, Ill.
