September 21, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. - Three different Tigers scored in leading DePauw to a 3-0 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference victory over Oglethorpe. DePauw improved to 2-4-1 overall and 1-1 in the SCAC, while the Stormy Petrels dropped to 3-2 overall and 0-2 in the conference.
Katy Phillips put the Tigers on the board at 19:48 with an unassisted goal before Sarah McCord followed it up at 36:42 on Lindsay Lund's assist. Lauren Hannan rounded out the scoring at 68:22 with an assist from Phillips.
DePauw outshot Oglethorpe 11-5 and held a 7-0 edge in corners.Three Tigers played in goal with Brooke Shipley, Lauren Palfrey and Christy Fillenwarth assisting with DePauw's second shutout of the season.
The Tigers return to action on Saturday, September 27, when they travel to the University of Chicago for a 6 p.m. CDT contest with the Maroons.
