Kaes Kamman's unassisted goal in the 11th minute gave the Tigers all they would need. Adam Davis scored in the 83rd minute on Andrew Desmarais' assist before Shelton Graves wrapped up the scoring in the 89th minutes on Gary Pett's assist.
DePauw outshot Franklin, 17-6 and held a 6-3 edge in corners. DePauw's Ted Jacobi recorded two saves in the shutout, while Franklin's Brad Phillips finished with five.
The Tigers return to action on Friday, October 3, when they travel to Millsaps for a 6 p.m. CDT contest.
