October 5, 2008, Birmingham, Ala. - Mike Harris' goal just 2:08 into the first overtime period lifted DePauw to a 2-1 win at Birmingham-Southern. The Tigers improved to 6-1-3 with the win, while the Panthers dropped to 1-11.
The teams battled through 70 minutes of scoreless play before Birmingham-Southern's Sean Head scored at 70:14 Brandon Wood knotted the score at 1-1 on Kreigh Kamman's assist at 84:17.
DePauw outshot Birmingham-Southern 24-13 and held a 6-5 edge in corners. DePauw's Ted Jacobi recorded two saves, while Hal Halbert had seven for the Panthers.
The Tigers return to action on Friday, October 10, when they host Hendrix at 8 p.m.
