October 25, 2008, Danville, Ky. - DePauw dropped to 5-8-2 overall and 3-4 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference after Centre took a 1-0 win over the Tigers. The Colonels improved to 9-5-1 overall and 5-2 in the SCAC.
Centre's Brittany Garr scored the game's only goal with an assist from Elizabeth Hooper at 34:40.
The Colonels outshot the Tigers, 14-6 and held a 3-2 edge in corners. Lauren Palfrey and Christy Fillenwarth split time in goal for the Tigers with Palfrey recording six saves and Fillenwarth two. Centre's Rosie McAuley totaled four saves in recording the shutout.
DePauw travels to Rose-Hulman on Wednesday for a 6 p.m. contest.
