November 9, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw's Andrew Desmarais forced overtime as he scored with an assist from Adam Davis as time expired in regulation in what would end up being a 1-1 tie with top-ranked Trinity.
DePauw finished the season with an 8-4-6 overall record and 4-3-3 in the SCAC, while Trinity is 18-0-1 overall and 9-0-1 in the conference.
Trinity took a 1-0 lead at 82:06 on Patrick Floeck's goal with an assist from Noe Casanova. The Tigers had a corner kick with less than 20 seconds left and were unable to convert, but were awarded a throw-in with 10 seconds left to set up the game-tying score.
DePauw outshot Trinity 15-12, while Trinity held a 10-7 edge in corners. DePauw's Ted Jacobi recorded seven saves, while Trinity's Patrick Johnson finished with six.
The Tigers wrapped up the 2008 campaign with nine overtimes which tied a Division III record and four losses which came by just one goal apiece.
