February 20, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — The 18th-ranked Tigers opened the spring portion of the season with an 8-1 win over Division II Southern Indiana at the DePauw Indoor Tennis and Track Center.
The Tigers took a 2-1 lead after winning at number two and three doubles before sweeping all six singles matches in straight sets.
DePauw hosts Indianapolis at 1 p.m. tomorrow.
