DePauw Records Saturday Sweep; 12th-ranked Tigers Improve to 13-8

April 18, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. —  The 12th-ranked Tigers improved to 13-8 with a pair of wins on the Blackstock Courts today. The Tigers topped 20th ranked Wheaton (Ill.) by a 7-2 score before blanking Illinois Wesleyan, 9-0. The Thunder dropped to 14-4, while the Titans slipped to 6-14.

Among the highlights of the matches was DePauw's number-one doubles team of Greer Mackie and Kayla Smith handed Jordan Hook and Elizabeth Worsowicz their first loss in 20 previous dual matches by an 8-5 score.

DePauw returns to action on Friday, April 24, at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship in North Little Rock, Ark.
