September 11, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — DePauw and Ohio Northern battled through two overtimes and finished tied, 0-0, in the evening's second game of the DePauw Classic. Wittenberg's Leslie Oliver scored with just 1:01 left on an assist from Maureen Buckley in a 1-0 win over Centre in the opening game.
Ohio Northern outshot DePauw, 12-0, while the Tigers held a 3-2 edge in corners. DePauw's Lauren Palfrey recorded a shutout and totaled three saves, while Ohio Northern's Kristen DeWees also posted a shutout.
DePauw hosts Wittenberg at 7 p.m. tomorrow, while Ohio Northern and Centre tangle at 5 p.m.
