September 19, 2009, Louisville, Ky. — Denison's Brooke Donovan scored on an assist from Kristen Schneider with just 1:42 left in the second overtime and took a 1-0 win over DePauw. The Tigers dropped to 3-4, while the Big Red improved to 5-3.
DePauw held a 13-10 edge in shots, while Denison led in penalty corners, 7-3. The Tigers' Liz Attewell recorded seven saves with Brittany Benson totaling nine in posting the Denison shutout. Each had two saves in the second overtime.
The Tigers return to action on Wednesday, September 23, when they host Bellarmine at 5 p.m.
