October 2, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — Sarah Riffle scored the game's only goal with 7:52 left in the first overtime on an assist from Bridgette Shamleffer and lifted DePauw to a 1-0 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference win over visiting Hendrix.
The Tigers improved to 6-4 overall and 2-1 in the SCAC, while the Warriors dropped to 2-4 overall and 0-3 in the SCAC.
DePauw held a 32-4 advantage in shots and 6-3 in penalty corners. Liz Attewell totaled four saves in posting the shutout for DePauw, while Alyssa Havens had six saves for Hendrix.
DePauw hosts Rhodes on Sunday at 11 a.m.
