October 10, 2009, Terre Haute, Ind. — Paced by Lauren Reich's second-place finish in 22:19, 22nd-ranked DePauw finished third overall at the Gibson Family Invitational which it co-hosted with Rose-Hulman. The Tigers finished with 106 points and were first among all Division III schools. Purdue won the meet with 56 points and Cedarville was second with 105.
Ellen Mail was sixth in 22:55, while Jess Macy finished in 23:13. Claire Hollis covered the course in 23:36 and Kelse Moore finished in 24:55.
DePauw returns to action on Saturday, October 17, when it competes in the Wisconsin-Oshkosh Invitational.
