
Jake Wissing begins his third season as an assistant coach at his alma mater and will direct the offensive line. Wissing came to DePauw from St. Joseph’s (Ind.) College where he coached the offensive line during the 2006 season.
Wissing graduated from DePauw in 2003 and earned a bachelor of arts degree while majoring in communication. While at DePauw, Wissing served as a student assistant his senior year after playing for the Tigers each of his first three seasons. He was named to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll in 2000.
Upon graduation he served as a graduate assistant coach at Alfred University where he coached the running backs and earned a master of professional studies degree.
He then moved on to Norwich University where he coached the running backs during the 2005 season.
