Biography:

Preston came to DePauw during the summer of 2007 as the Tigers' head field hockey coach.

She's led DePauw to a 26-12 record in her first two seasons including a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference championship in 2007 after wins over Centre and Sewanee at the conference tournament.

An assistant coach at Washington & Jefferson College during the 2006 season, Preston served as an assistant at Earlham College for two years.

A 2004 Centre College graduate, Preston earned a bachelor of arts degree in English. The Louisville, Ky., native was a second team all-region player at Centre while serving as a co-captain. She also was named to the Kentucky Indiana Tennessee (KIT) all-conference and all-tournament teams.
