DePauw wins SCAC title with 8-4
win over Southwestern
DePauw University captured its first Southern Collegiate Athletic
Conference baseball championship with an 8-4 victory over Southwestern
University in the SCAC championship game. The Tigers came out of the
winner's bracket with a 9-8 win over Southwestern and a 9-6 victory over
Trinity. They then dropped the first game on Sunday with Southwestern by a
7-1 count to force the winner-take-all title game.
