2001 SCAC GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS

Rhodes women and Oglethorpe men each capture second straight SCAC title

Behind Emily Burch's record 150, Rhodes College won its second straight Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference women's golf championship with a two-round record 639. DePauw University was second at 669.

Burch broke her own SCAC record for the tournament and her 72 on the first day broke the single-round record of 77 she shot last year.

The Oglethorpe men shot a two-round 589 to win their second straight men's title. DePauw's Nate Romance won a one-hole playoff over Jack Fraleigh to take medalist honors.
