DePauw defeats Marymount 65-58 to finish third in Division
III
Lindsey Rush came off the bench to score 12, while Katie
Imborek and Sarah MacKay each scored 10 in the Tigers' 65-58 win
over Marymount (Va.) in the NCAA Division III third-place game.
The Tigers finished the season with a 26-4 mark and the seniors
finished their careers with a school-record equaling 87 wins
against just 20 losses.

Tigers fall to St. Lawrence in national semifinals; face
Marymount in Saturday's third-place game
DePauw dropped a 69-54 decision to St. Lawrence in the second
national semifinal game at Rose-Hulman and now take on Marymount
on Saturday evening at 5:30 p.m. for third place.

Huffman named Division III Coach of the Year
DePauw head coach Kris Huffman, who has led the Tigers into
the Division III national semifinals for the first time in school
history, was named the Kodak/Women's Basketball Coaches
Association Division III Coach of the Year in an announcement made
at the Championship Banquet on the campus of Rose-Hulman.
Huffman has posted a 172-61 career record in nine seasons heading into Friday's semifinal game against St. Lawrence (N.Y.) University. The Tigers are 25-3 and take on the 27-3 Saints at 8 p.m. this evening.
The Fort Dodge, Iowa, native and 1990 University of Northern Iowa graduate has directed the Tigers to six straight shared or outright conference championships including the last four as members of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
DePauw sells its allotment of 250 tickets
DePauw has sold all of its on-campus allotment of 250 tickets for the Division III
semifinals, consolation and championship games to be played this
weekend.Tickets are still available for both nights sessions
through
Ticketmaster.com and by
phone at 812-234-2424. Any unsold tickets from the other three
schools will go on sale Thursday at 11 a.m. at Rose-Hulman. DePauw faces St. Lawrence, N.Y., at 8 p.m.
on Friday, March 15 at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
DePauw beats Wilmington to advance
to Division III final four
Sectional MVP Sarah MacKay scored 21
and Katie Imborek added a career-high 20 as the 25-3 Tigers won
the Wilmington sectional and advanced to the Division III final
four at Rose-Hulman. DePauw will face 27-3 St. Lawrence on Friday,
March 15, at a time to be determined.

Tigers face Hardin-Simmons at
Wilmington
The 23-3 Tigers travel to Wilmington (Ohio) College where they
will face 26-1 Hardin-Simmons in the first game of sectional play on
Friday, March 8. Game time will be announced on Monday. The Tigers
advanced to the Sweet 16 for the third time in five years with a
75-58 win over Maryville (Tenn.).

Katie Imborek scored a career-high 19 points including 13 in
the first half as DePauw defeated visiting Maryville 75-68 in the
NCAA second-round game at DePauw.

Tigers earn first-round bye, host
Maryville on Saturday
The 22-3 Tigers earned a first round bye in the NCAA Division
III Championship and will host, on Maryville (Tenn.) on Saturday
at 3 p.m. Maryville (20-7) defeated Savannah Art & Design on
Wednesday by a 79-66 score. Game time is 3 p.m. Tickets are $4 for
adults and $3 for students.

Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference victory at Sewanee.
DePauw, headed for the NCAA Division III Championship, finished

scored a season-high 16 and grabbed a career-best eight rebounds.
