DePauw defeats Marymount 65-58 to finish third in Division III
Lindsey Rush came off the bench to score 12, while Katie Imborek and Sarah MacKay each scored 10 in the Tigers' 65-58 win over Marymount (Va.) in the NCAA Division III third-place game. Tigers fall to St. Lawrence in national semifinals; face Marymount in Saturday's third-place game
DePauw dropped a 69-54 decision to St. Lawrence in the second national semifinal game at Rose-Hulman and now take on Marymount on Saturday evening at 5:30 p.m. for third place. Huffman named Division III Coach of the Year
DePauw head coach Kris Huffman, who has led the Tigers into the Division III national semifinals for the first time in school history, was named the Kodak/Women's Basketball Coaches Association Division III Coach of the Year in an announcement made at the Championship Banquet on the campus of Rose-Hulman.

Huffman has posted a 172-61 career record in nine seasons heading into Friday's semifinal game against St. Lawrence (N.Y.) University. The Tigers are 25-3 and take on the 27-3 Saints at 8 p.m. this evening.

The Fort Dodge, Iowa, native and 1990 University of Northern Iowa graduate has directed the Tigers to six straight shared or outright conference championships including the last four as members of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.

DePauw sells its allotment of 250 tickets
DePauw has sold all of its on-campus allotment of 250 tickets for the Division III semifinals, consolation and championship games to be played this weekend.Tickets are still available for both nights sessions through Ticketmaster.com and by phone at 812-234-2424. Any unsold tickets from the other three schools will go on sale Thursday at 11 a.m. at Rose-Hulman. DePauw faces St. Lawrence, N.Y., at 8 p.m. on Friday, March 15 at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

DePauw beats Wilmington to advance to Division III final four
Sectional MVP Sarah MacKay scored 21 and Katie Imborek added a career-high 20 as the 25-3 Tigers won the Wilmington sectional and advanced to the Division III final four at Rose-Hulman. DePauw will face 27-3 St. Lawrence on Friday, March 15, at a time to be determined. Full Story with box score

DePauw, 24-3, is one step away from reaching the national semifinals as it faces sectional host Wilmington in the sectional finals. Tipoff is at 7:30 p.m. with WGRE's live broadcast beginning at 7:10 p.m.

The 14-2 Tigers, winners of 13 straight games, moved up six places to 12th in the latest USA Today/ESPN/WBCA poll and jumped two spots in the latest D3Hoops.com Top 25 poll and are now 15th in the nation. The Tigers are ranked second in the South Region in the first poll released by the NCAA.

The 11-2 Tigers are ranked 23rd in the first USA Today/ESPN/WBCA Division III Top 25 Coaches' Poll of the season. DePauw has won its last 10 games after a 1-2 start. After leading by seven early in the second half, the Tigers went on a 20-5 run to break the game open in an 81-56 SCAC win over visiting Oglethorpe. The victory was DePauw's 10th straight as they improved to 11-2 overall and 6-0 in the SCAC. Kim Weigle scored a season-high 16 and grabbed a career-best eight rebounds. Wilmington's Tara Rausch hit one of two free throws with just 2.4 seconds left to lift the Quakers to a 62-61 victory over the Tigers. The Tigers battled all the way back to tie the contest at 61-61 on Amy Argetsinger's three-pointer with just over one minute to play. More

Sarah MacKay scored a career-high 25 points and dished out six assists, but it wasn't enough as the host Tigers lost to Washington University, 69-61, in the DePauw Tipoff Tournament championship game. Tigers ranked 26th according to D3hoops.com preseason poll
In the D3hoops.com preseason poll the Tigers are ranked 26th in Division III. DePauw has a possibility of playing four games against teams in the top 20 as they face 15th-ranked Centre twice, 20th-ranked Wartburg once and may face second-ranked Washington (Mo.).

Tigers share preseason number-one in SCAC
The Tigers have won or shared the SCAC title each of their first three seasons in the conference and this year share the preseason number-one slot with Centre with 89 points. The Tigers earned three first-place votes to Centre's four. Trinity picked up a first-place vote and 81 points for third place. Sewanee was picked fourth with one first-place vote and 66 points, while Hendrix was fifth with a first-place vote and 60 points.
