Lazar named Division III Coach of the Year
Head coach Vince Lazar has been named the NCAA Division III Coach
of the Year by the
National Golf Coaches
Association. Lazar was one of five regional coach of the year
honorees to vie for the national award.

DePauw finishes fourth at NCAA Championships
The DePauw women's golf team finished fourth with
a four-round score of 1,387 at the NCAA Division III
Championships at The Orchards Golf Club in South Hadley, Mass.
The Tigers, coached by Vince Lazar and making their first
appearance in the NCAA Championships, shot a 331 during Friday's
final round which was second only to Methodist (N.C.) College's
322. Methodist won with a 1,310 followed by Mary Hardin-Baylor
(Texas) with a 1,341 and Amherst (Mass.) with a 1,384.
Individually for DePauw, Jessica Schneider (So.,
Elgin, Ill./Larkin) led the way with a 345 including an 80 in
the fourth round to finish 24th. Audra Butts (Fr.,
Indianapolis, Ind./Ben Davis) was tied for 26th with a 347
and shot an 81 today. Lindsay Amore (Fr., Mooresville,
Ind./Mooresville) finished 30th with a 349, while Deborah
Garriott (So., Marion, Ind./Marion) was tied for 33rd with a
351. Mandy Levy (Fr., Burr Ridge, Ill./Hinsdale South)
placed 54th with a 374. Thomas More's Lynn Thompson was the
medalist with a 312.

DePauw earns spot in NCAA Championships
The Tigers were one of just 10 Division III schools selected to
compete in the NCAA Championships, May 14-17 at the Orchards Golf
Club in South Hadley, Mass.

Tigers capture first SCAC title
The Tigers, who were in second
place after the first round, came back in day two to win their first
Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference championship. All five Tigers
earned all-SCAC honors led by Deborah Garriott and Audra Butts who each
shot 176 to earn spots on the first team. Lindsay Amore and Mandy Levy
each shot 177 and Jessica Schneider finished with a 183 to earn second
team honors. DePauw entered the tournament ranked fifth in Division III,
while Rhodes was second.

The Tigers are ranked fifth in the latest Division III rankings
according to
Golfstat.
Tigers win St. Mary's Invitational
Lindsey Amore shot and 87 and Mandy Levy finished with an 88 to lead
the Tigers to a team total of 361 for a two-shot win over host St. Mary's.
Audra Butts followed with a 92, Deborah Garriott shot a 94 and Jessica
Schneider finished with a 97.
DePauw places fourth at Indianapolis Classic
The Tigers finished fourth among seven teams at the University of
Indianapolis Greyhound Women's Golf Classic with a team score of 348. The
Tigers were led by Jessica Schneider and Lindsay Amore at 85 each and
Mandy Levy with an 87. Audra Butts shot a 91 and Deborah Garriott finished
with a 93.
Tigers finish third at Northern Kentucky Invitational
DePauw finished third among nine schools at the Northern Kentucky
Spring Invitational with a team score of 682 over the two rounds. Jessica
Schneider finished in a tie for 13th with a 168, while Lindsay Amore tied
for 17th at 171 and Deborah Garriott was tied for 19th with a 172. Mandy
Levy shot a 173 and Audra Butts finished with a 177.
DePauw defeats Rhodes and Millsaps
The Tigers opened the spring season by winning the tri-match with
Rhodes and Millsaps in Jackson, Miss. The Tigers finished with a 353
followed by Rhodes at 375 and Millsaps with 568. Lindsey Amore fired an
85, while Deborah Garriott and Jessica Schneider each shot 87. Audra Butts
added a 94 and Mandy Levy finished with a 104.
Garriott wins Franklin Fall Invitational
Deborah Garriott shot a two-round 164 to win the Franklin College Fall
Invitational. Lindsay Amore finished fourth with a 173 and Audra Butts was
eighth with a 180.
Tigers win Small College Classic; Schneider places second
The Tigers shot a two-round 708 to finish 26 strokes ahead of Albion and
win the DePauw Small College Classic at the Deer Creek Golf Club. Jessica
Schneider led the Tigers with a second-place finish with a 173. Audra
Butts tied for third with a 174 with Deborah Garriott placing fifth with a
181. Alma's Courtney Rheinhardt earned medalist honors with a 161.

Tigers finish third at Illinois Wesleyan Invitational
DePauw again set a single-round school record with a second-round 318
to finish third with a 642 at the Illinois Wesleyan Lady Titan
Invitational. Rhodes won the tournament with a 629 followed by Quincy with
a 636. Deborah Garriott finished in a tie for fifth with a two-round
155 that included a 73 over the final 18 holes. Audra Butts placed in a
tie for 18th with a 160. Other DePauw scores included Jessica Schneider
(164), Mandy Levy (165) and Lindsay Amore (166).
DePauw ties for second at Southern Indiana;
sets one-round school record
Behind Lyndsay Amore's
two-round 157 and Jessica Schneider's 161, the Tigers placed in a tie for
second at the University of Southern Indiana Lady Eagles Golf Classic with
a 653. Included in that was a school-record 322 in the second round. Other
scores included Deborah Garriott (165), Ann Speidel (171) and Mandy Levy
(173). Playing as individuals, Lindsay Amore and Jessica Schneider shot
157 and 161, respectively.
DePauw places 15th at Illinois State
The Tigers finished 15th at the Illinois State Redbird Classic and
were led by Jessica Schneider with a 264, Deborah Garriott at 267
and Mandy Levy with a 268. Courtenay Grass added a 270 and
Lindsay Amore finished with a 271.
Tigers finish sixth at Ferris State Invitational
Behind Jessica Schneider's 172, the Tigers finished sixth at the
Ferris State Bulldog Fall Invitational. Schneider shot an 86 in each round
to lead DePauw. Deborah Garriott shot a 173 with an 82 in the first round.
As a team, DePauw shot a two-round total of 695.
