Scott named all-American; Four Tigers chosen to all-region team
Sophomore midfielder Corinne Scott earned third team all-America honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America after finishing with nine goals and six assists for the 15-4 Tigers. This marks the third straight year the Tigers have produced an all-American as Beth Walse earned the honor in 1999 and 2000. Joining her on the all-Great Lakes Region first team were senior back Lizzie Ephraim and junior forward Michelle Aymond. Junior midfielder Megan Bevington was a second team all-region choice. Ephraim is DePauw's first four-time all-region player.

Nine Tigers earn all-SCAC honors; three named to first team
The SCAC runner-up Tigers were well represented on the all-conference team as nine players earned all-conference honors. Juniors Megan Bevington and Michelle Aymond as well as sophomore Corinne Scott earned first team honors, while senior Lizzie Ephraim and sophomore Kellie Hasselbeck were selected to the second team. Juniors Tara Bevington and Brigid Roche, sophomore Allison Glibkowski and freshman Kim Schreiner were voted to the third team.

Tigers fall to Ohio Wesleyan, 3-0, in Great Lakes semifinals
The 10th-ranked Tigers' season came to a close at second-ranked Ohio Wesleyan with a 3-0 loss in the Great Lakes Region semifinals. The Battling Bishop scored all three goals in the first half. Ohio Wesleyan outshot the Tigers 29-5 in the contest. DePauw finished the season with a 15-4 record, while Ohio Wesleyan improved to 18-1. Box score

DePauw wins first-round game; advance to regional semifinals
Junior Michelle Aymond scored a pair of second-half goals and Allison Glibkowski recorded the shutout in goal to lift the Tigers to a 2-0 win over visiting John Carroll in the first round of the NCAA Division III Championship. The Tigers advance to play at regional host Ohio Wesleyan at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Story with photo gallery

Tigers earn spot in NCAA Championship field
The 14-3 Tigers earned an at-large bid to the 45-team NCAA Division III Championship and host John Carroll (Ohio) University in a first-round game at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31. Story

DePauw closes out regular season with 4-1 win over Centre
The 12th-ranked Tigers finished the regular season with a 4-1 win over visiting Centre. Corinne Scott scored twice and Kellie Hasselbeck and Lizzie Ephraim each added goals in the victory. DePauw improved to 14-3 overall and 8-1 in the SCAC. Statistics | Photos to come

12th-ranked Tigers win seventh straight
DePauw scored three second-half goals on the way to a 3-0 SCAC win over visiting Sewanee. Tara Bevington, Michelle Aymond and Lizzie Ephraim each scored for the Tigers and Allison Glibkowski recorded the shutout. DePauw improved to 13-3 overall and 7-1 in the SCAC. Box score

DePauw wins sixth straight with 2-1 win at Rhodes
The Tigers won for the sixth straight time and improved to 12-3 overall and 6-1 in the SCAC with a 2-1 at Rhodes. Kellie Hasselbeck scored both DePauw goals in the second half with Michelle Aymond and Corinne Scott assisting on the first and Megan Bevington on the second. Box score

Tigers top Hendrix in overtime, 3-2
Kim Schreiner's goal at 95:48 gave DePauw a 3-2 overtime win over host Hendrix. Michelle Aymond scored the Tigers' first goal before assisting on Corinne Scott's game-tying score with just three minutes left in regulation. The 14th-ranked Tigers improved to 11-3 overall and 5-1 in the SCAC. Box score

DePauw completes weekend sweep with 8-0 win at Oglethorpe
Tara Bevington scored three goals with Corrine Scott and Kelly Fitz each adding two in an 8-0 win at Oglethorpe. Allison Glibkowski and Mary Palecek combined for the shutout that lifted the Tigers' record to 10-3 overall and 4-1 in the SCAC. Box score

Tigers improve to 9-3 with 7-0 win at Millsaps
DePauw defeated host Millsaps 7-0 to improve to 9-3 overall and 3-1 in the SCAC. Box score

DePauw blanks Rose-Hulman 3-0
Michelle Aymond, Corinne Scott and Meredith Rinaker each scored once to lead the Tigers to a 3-0 victory over visiting Rose-Hulman in SCAC action. Allison Glibkowski recorded her fourth shutout of the season. Box score

Tigers top Principia 9-4
Michelle Aymond tied a school record with four goals, while Jocelyn Keller and Corinne Scott each added two and Kellie Hasselbeck one in the Tigers' 9-4 victory over visiting Principia. The Tigers held a 6-1 halftime advantage. Box score

Late goal sends second-ranked Trinity to 1-0 win over 13th-ranked DePauw
Lindsey Rowland's goal at the 86:45 mark lifted visiting and second-ranked Trinity to a 1-0 win over 13th-ranked DePauw in SCAC action. DePauw slipped to 6-3 overall and 1-1 in the SCAC , while Trinity improved to 8-0 overall and 4-0 in the conference. Box score

13th-ranked Tigers win SCAC opener
Kellie Hasselbeck and Kim Schreiner each recorded a goal and an assist and Jocelyn Keller added a goal as the Tigers opened Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play with a 3-0 win over visiting Southwestern. Allison Glibkowski recorded the shutout in goal for the 13th-ranked Tigers. DePauw improved to 6-2 with its third straight win and host second-ranked Trinity on Sunday at noon. Box score

Tigers top Titans 3-1
The Tigers improved to 5-2 on the season with a 3-1 win over visiting Illinois Wesleyan. The teams battled to a 1-1 halftime tie before Kim Schreiner's goal midway through the second half on an assist from Megan Bevington and Meredith Rinaker proved to be the game-winner. Rinaker scored DePauw's first goal and Tara Bevington rounded out the scoring with just over eight minutes to play. Box score

Tigers win on second-half goal
Meredith Rinaker's goal off of a corner from Megan Bevington in the 72nd minute lifted the Tigers to a 1-0 in over visiting Chicago. Allison Glibkowski recorded the shutout in goal. The Tigers held a 19-4 advantage in shots on the way to improving to 4-2 on the season. Box score

12th-ranked Tigers lose at fifth-ranked Ohio Wesleyan
The host Battling Bishops, ranked fifth in Division III, blanked the Tigers by a 3-0 count. DePauw dropped to 3-2 with the loss. Box score

Aymond named SCAC Player of the Week
Junior Michelle Aymond has earned Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors after scoring four goals in three DePauw wins including a pair of game-winners.

Tigers move to 3-1 with 3-2 win at Wittenberg
Michelle Aymond's goal with an assist from Jocelyn Keller, midway through the second half, was the game-winner in the Tigers' 3-2 win at Wittenberg. Tara Bevington and Kate Nickols each added first-half sores. Box score

DePauw blanks Earlham 5-0
The Tigers improved to 2-1 on the season with a 5-0 win at Earlham. The Tigers led 3-0 at the half as Megan Bevington, Michelle Aymond and Meredith Rinaker each scored. Aymond and Kellie Hasselbeck added second-half goals in the win. Allison Glibkowski, Mary Kathryn Hancock and Sara King shared the shutout. Box score

Tigers win home opener in overtime
Junior Michelle Aymond scored the game-winner just 1:33 into the first overtime period on an assist from sophomore Corrine Scott and gave the Tigers a 1-0 victory over Kalamazoo in the first game at Boswell Field this season. 14th-ranked Tigers drop opener to 10th-ranked Thunder
A goal scored midway through the first half was all host Wheaton needed in defeating DePauw 1-0. Jessica Elsen scored at 23:36 on an assist from Erin Wingerter and Sarah Kron. Wheaton held a 15-12 advantage in shots, but DePauw had six corners to Wheaton's two. Box score

Tigers ranked 14th in preseason poll
DePauw is ranked 14th in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Division III women's preseason poll. The Tigers finished the 2000 season with a 12-2-2 record and were second in the SCAC. Complete poll

Tigers picked second in SCAC preseason poll; six players named to preseason team
In voting by the 10 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference head women's soccer coaches, the Tigers were picked to finish second behind Trinity. DePauw totaled 93 points and three first-place vote. Trinity had 97 points and seven first-place votes. Michelle Aymond, Megan Bevington, Lizzie Ephraim, Allison Glibkowsi, Brigid Roche and Corinne Scott were named to the preseason all-conference team.
