Tigers finish third at SCAC Championships
DePauw placed third at its first-ever Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships at Trinity University in San Antonio. Trinity won the title with 133 points, followed by Rhodes with 117 and DePauw with 100. Earning all-conference honors were: Jeanna Tillman (100 meters, 13.43, 3rd), Kiley McQuinn (200 meters, 27.37, 3rd; 400 meters, 1:00.24, 2nd), Adrienne Gough (5,000 meters, 19:06.58, 2nd), 4 x 100 relay (51.80, 2nd), 4 x 400 relay (4:09.67, 2nd), Beth Broering (high jump, 1.59 meters, 3rd), and Amara Martin (shot put, 11.46 meters, 1st).

Meet at Millikin canceled
The Tigers' meet at Millikin has been canceled due to adverse weather conditions. DePauw resumes action at the SCAC Championships in San Antonio on April 23-24.

 

Tigers finish sixth at Little State
The Tiger women finished in sixth place at the annual Little State Championships at Anderson University. The meet included NCAA Division II and III schools along with NAIA participants from Indiana colleges and universities.

 

Jeanna Tillman paced the women by winning the triple jump with a distance of 10.7 meters (35-01.25). Amara Martin was third in the shot put (11.27/36-11.75), while Kiley McQuinn was fourth in the long jump (4.89m/16-00.5) and Adrienne Gough was fourth in the 3,000 meters (10:56.85). Jenni Greene placed in a fourth-place tie in the high jump (1.52/4-11.75).

 

Sixth place finishes were turned in by Aimee Euson in the 400 meters in 1:01.44, Beth Broering in the high jump (1.47/4-09.75) and Rachael Henry in the 5,000 meters (19:11.32). Becky

Konowicz was eighth in the javelin (26.48/86-10) and McQuinn in the 200 meters in 27.27 seconds. The 4 x 400-meter relay was sixth in 4:18.54.
