Sophomore Natalie Shaffer finished 18th in the 5,000-meter run at the NCAA Division III Championships at St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y. Shaffer finished in a time of 17:53.00. PLEASE VISIT THE HOST SITE

Shaneka Terrell finished fourth in the triple jump with a leap of 10.96 meters at the North Central Invitational last chance meet. RESULTS

Shaffer runs at North Central
Natalie Shaffer finished eighth in 1,500-meter run in 4:48.42 at the Dr. Keeler Invitational at North Central College. RESULTS

Shaffer qualifies for Division III Championships
Natalie Shaffer finished fourth in the 5,000-meter run in 17:08.99 at the Butler Twilight and qualified automatically for the NCAA Division III Championships. RESULTS

DePauw finishes third at SCAC Championships
The Tigers totaled 149 points to finish third at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships. Trinity won with 228 points followed by Rhodes with 187. All-conference performances included: Nikki Price (100 meters, 2nd), Aidan Yandell (long jump, 2nd; 200 meters, 3rd), Natalie Shaffer (5000 meters, 2nd), Shaneka Terrell (long jump, 1st; triple jump, 1st), Heather Byars (shot put, 3rd; discus, 3rd) and Beth Kline (discus, 1st). Indy Relays Results

 

4/12/03
Tigers finish fifth at Little State
DePauw finished fifth at the Little State Championships at Indiana Wesleyan. Shaneka Terrell won both the high jump and triple jump, while Katy Quirk finished first in the 10,000 meters. Natalie Shaffer finished second in the 5,000 meters and notched an NCAA provisional qualifying time. Other DePauw scorers included Aidan Yandell (long jump 3rd; triple jump, 8th), Amanda Royalty (800 meters, 5th), Beth Kline (discus, 5th) and Jessica Kelly (shot put, 8th). The 4 x 400 relay placed fourth and the 4 x 100 relay finished seventh. COMPLETE RESULTS

Tigers place third at DePauw quad
DePauw finished third with 163 points behind champion Indiana Wesleyan with 226 and Valparaiso with 191 at the DePauw Quad at Blackstock Stadium. Aidan Yandell won the long jump, while Shaneka Terrell took first in the triple jump and Beth Kline won the discus.

Shaffer finishes season at Division III Championships
DePauw sophomore Natalie Shaffer competed at the NCAA Division III Championships at DePauw and finished the 1,500-meter run in 4:51.19. Her time was not good enough to qualify for the finals. Follow the Championships, here

Shaffer to compete at Division III Championships
DePauw sophomore Natalie Shaffer will represent the Tigers at the NCAA Division III Championships hosted by DePauw. Shaffer is seeded 11th in the 5,000-meter run after notching her qualifying time of 4:38.25 at the Tiger Classic on March 1. Follow the Championships, here

Tigers tie for fourth at DePauw Indoor Classic
DePauw finished with 58 points and tied for fourth at the DePauw Indoor Classic. Washington (Mo.) University won with 129 points. DePauw Indoor Classic Women's Results

Tigers place 10th at DePauw Indoor Invitational
DePauw finished with 26 points to place 10th at the DePauw Indoor Invitational. Indiana Wesleyan won the meet with 97 points followed by St. Joseph's with 85 and Indianapolis with 66. Aidan Yandell won the long jump with a meet record distance of 5.38 meters. Katy Quirk placed second in the 1500 meters in 5:08.31. Shaneka Terrell placed fourth in the triple jump and sixth in both the long and high jumps. Complete Results

Shaffer qualifies provisionally in the mile
Natalie Shaffer finished 13th in the mile at the Cannon IV Classic hosted by Butler and qualified, provisionally, for the NCAA Division III Championships with a time of 5:04.15.
