George G. Eubank

Considered one of the finest basketball players in the Midwest, George Eubank led th eTigers to state and conference championships during his junior year. Eubank entered DePauw as a Rector Scholar and graduated with the highest scholastic honors of any student-athlete. Captain of the team for three years, he earned all-state mention each year and received mention on the 1932 college all-American team. Eubank was appointed Morgan County Recreational Director and later accepted a position as an Educational director in the Civilian Conservation Corps prior to his untimely death in 1940.
