Kyle Brumett
Title: Assistant Coach
Kyle Brumett enters his sixth season as assistant basketball coach at DePauw and fourth in a full-time capacity. Brumett also serves as DePauw?s assistant men?s and women?s golf coach.During Brumett?s time at DePauw, the Tigers have compiled a 94-36 record with two conference titles. Brumett coordinates DePauw?s recruiting, scouting, game scheduling and travel arrangements. On the court, he works with the Tigers? post players.
Before arriving at DePauw, the 1998 Hanover graduate assisted Bruce Pearl at the University of Southern Indiana during the 1998-99 season. While at USI, the Eagles finished 26-6 before losing to the eventual Division II national champion. The Eagles were the top-ranked Division II team throughout the year.
Brumett majored in physical education at Hanover and served as an assistant to Mike Beitzel when his playing career came to an end. In his four years, the Panthers posted a 74-34 record.
The Jeffersonville, Ind., native graduated from Jeffersonville High School in 1994. Brumett is pursuing a master?s degree in the field of Recreation and Sports Management at Indiana State University.
Brumett and his wife, Steffanie, reside in Greencastle.
