DePauw men set to open SCAC play on Friday

2004basketballlogo.jpgThe 16-9 DePauw men's basketeball team opens play in the 2004 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament on Friday, February 27, when it takes on Southwestern University. Tipoff for the quarterfinal contest is set for 8 p.m. CST at Rhodes College in Memphis.

 

Southwestern finished the regular season with a 16-9 mark as well. Both teams finished with 9-5 SCAC records with Southwestern earning the fourth seed and DePauw the fifth by virtue of the Pirates' 70-54 win over the Tigers on February 6.

 

WGRE will be on hand to bring all the tournament action back to West Central Indiana and to the world through its online broadcast.
