Brown named SCAC Player of the Week

DSC_8478.JPGDecember 19, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw senior wing Austin Brown has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week for his performance in the Tigers' 84-63 win over Illinois Tech on Sunday.

Brown notched a career-high 27 points on 11-of-14 field goal shooting including 4-of-5 from three-point range. He added three rebounds, two assists and a steal in DePauw's win.

The Tigers take their 7-1 record and six-game win streak into a game at Kenyon on Wednesday, December 20. The 2 p.m. contest will be carried live on WGRE.
