Moore Named to D3hoops.com Preseason All-America Team

moore200708mbbaction.jpgNovember 20, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. -DePauw senior guard Mike Moore has been named to the D3hoops.com 2008-09 Preseason Men's All-America Fourth Team.

Moore is coming off a season in which he averaged team highs of 17.3 points and 6.5 assists per game, while knocking  down a team-best 66 three-pointers and hitting 40.5 percent from beyond the arc.

Needing just 21 points to become the  23rd player in school history to reach the 1,000-point plateau, Moore ranks third in DePauw history with 459 career assists.

DePauw opens the season on Friday, November 21, when it faces Franklin at Wabash College's Little Giant Tipoff Tournament. Game time is set for 6 p.m. and the tape-delayed WGRE broadcast will begin immediately following the live women's broadcast.
