DePauw places 11th at NCAA Regionals
Eric Fruth led the Tigers with a 49th place finish at the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional in 26:12 as DePauw placed 11th amongst the 29-team field. COMPLETE MEET RESULTS
Tigers finish third at SCAC Championships
The Tiger men finished third at the SCAC Championships, but just two points behind second-place Trinity and 12 behind champion Rhodes. Three DePauw runners earned all-SCAC honors led by Erik Albers in fifth place at 27:14. Torrey Teats was seventh in 27:21 and Eric Fruth ninth in 27:39.
DePauw finishes sixth at Ohio Northern Invitational
Erik Albers and Torrey Teats led the Tigers with 19th and 20th place finishes as the Tigers placed sixth at the Ohio Northern Invitational. Albers finished in 26:49 with Teats right behind at 26:52. Josh Lamb was 35th in 27:16, Eric Fruth finished 44th in 27:32 and Brent Patterson was 49th in 27:35. For all the times, visit the individual times page.
Tigers finish 11th at Washington (Mo.) Invitational
The men placed 11th among 22 NCAA Division I, II and III and NAIA schools at the All-Missouri/Border State Championships hosted by Washington University. Erik Albers led the men with a 30th place showing in 26:13.4 over the 8,000-meter course. Torrey Teats was 53rd in 26:56.3 and Tom Green was 60th in 27:07.6. Brian Thompson finished 68th in 27:20.9, while Josh Lamb was 74th in 27:23.9.
Tigers place 14th at Loyola Invitational
The men placed 14th out of 25 non-Division I schools at the Loyola (Ill.) Lakefront Invitational. Torrey Teats was 42nd in 26:28 and Erik Albers finished 44th in 26:30. Eric Fruth placed 64th in 26:52, Brian Thompson was 89th in 27:18 and Tom Green finished 91st in 27:22.
Tigers finish third at GLCA Championships
DePauw's men finished third behind Kenyon and Wooster at Great Lakes Colleges Association Championships at Earlham. Erik Albers led the Tigers with a 12th place finish in 27:43, while Torrey Teats was 13th in 27:46 and Brandon Emkes was 15th in 27:50.
Tigers place ninth at North Central Invitational
Torrey Teats and Brandon Emkes placed 28th and 29th, respectively, in leading the Tigers to a ninth place finish among 17 teams at the North Central Invitational. Teats finished in a time of 27:10.10, while Emkes ran a 27:11.30 over the five-mile course.
DePauw fourth at Hokum-Karem Relays
Led by the team of Brandon Emkes and Brian Thompson, the Tigers placed fourth among six teams at the annual Hokum-Karem Relays at Wabash College.
