Tigers finish 24th at NCAA Championships
In their first-ever appearance at the NCAA Division III Championships, the Tigers placed 24th. Simon Flory led the Tigers with a 107th-place finish in 25:52, while Torrey Teats was 129th in 26:07.Graham Wellman finished 164th in 26:31, Matt DeLeon placed 178th in 26:44 and Richie Brown was 193rd in 27:07. Tiger men headed to NCAA Championships for first time
For the first time in school history, the DePauw men's cross country team has earned a spot in the NCAA Division III Championship. The Tigers placed third at the Regional hosted by Kalamazoo and earned a spot in the field. Simon Flory was the top DePauw finisher in 25:43.6 which was good for ninth place. Tigers defend SCAC title; Fruth repeats as individual winner
DePauw bettered its SCAC-record low point total by winning the conference title for the second straight year with 16 points to runner-up Rhodes' 74. Eric Fruth won for the second straight year with a time of 26:06.32. Simon Flory finished second in 26:14.51, while Torrey Teats was third in 26:32.56 and Matt DeLeon placed fourth in 26:37.97. Graham Wellman was sixth in 27:00.48 and Richie Brown was 10th in 27:26.4. All six earned all-SCAC honors.

Tigers finish second at Wisconsin-Parkside Invitational
DePauw put together another impressive performance with a second-place finish amongst 32 teams at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside Invitational. Eric Fruth placed 10th overall with a time of 26:25, while Torrey Teats was 16th in 26:32 and Simon Flory was 17th in 26:34. DePauw times and finishes

DePauw finishes an impressive third at Augustana Invitational
Amongst a field that included eight of the nation's top 25 teams in the most recent Division III rankings, the Tigers placed third at the Brissman Lundeen Invitational hosted by Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. Eric Fruth paced DePauw with a ninth-place finish in 25:11, while Torrey Teats was 17th in 25:25. Complete results

Tigers place third among non-Division I schools and sixth overall at Indiana Intercollegiates

DePauw finishes second at GLCA Championships
Behind Eric Fruth's first-place finish in 26:56, which was 1:03 ahead of the second-place time, the Tigers placed second at the Great Lakes Colleges Association Championships at Earlham College. Tigers win Wabash Hokum-Karem
DePauw successfully defended its 2000 Hokum-Karem title by winning this year's meet with nine points to runner-up Wabash's 17. The duo of Torrey Teats and Eric Fruth finished second in 29:32, while Simon Flory and John Stewart combined for a time of 29:57 to place third. Richie Brown and Matt DeLeon combined to place fourth in 30:06 to round out the DePauw scoring.
