Free admission for Saturday football game; game notes posted
October 25, 2003
DePauw returns to the football field this Saturday, October 25, when it hosts Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference rival Millsaps College and admission is free to the public. Kickoff at Blackstock Stadium is set for 1:30 p.m.
"With our students on fall break this week, we feel that's it's an excellent opportunity for our local fans who may not get an opportunity to come to campus," DePauw Director of Athletics said. "They can walk right in and enjoy a Saturday afternoon of great college football."
The Tigers, winners of two straight games, are 4-2 on the season and have won both of their home contests this season. The 2003 season is the 23rd and final year for DePauw's head coach Nick Mourouzis. The veteran coach has posted a 137-84-4 overall record for the Tigers.
If you can't make it to the game there are several ways to follow the Tigers on Saturday. Live in-game stats will be available here.
Every minute of every DePauw football game is broadcast live by WGRE (91.5FM) and available online. The student-operated station also broadcasts Tiger men's and women's basketball contests and a select number of baseball games. This week's comprehensive coverage from Blackstock Stadium begins at 1 p.m. with the pregame show. The broadcast may be accessed here.
