Geringer named SCAC Defensive Player of the Week

September 3, 2001, Greencastle, Ind. - Senior Jason Geringer was named the SCAC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in a 38-17 win over Rhodes.

Geringer totaled 13 tackles, two tackles for loss including a sack and added a quarterback hurry as well as a 25-yard interception return for a touchdown.
