Tigers Move to 23rd in D3football.com Poll

d3football.jpgSeptember 7, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — DePauw's football team was idle on Saturday, but moved up two spots to 23rd in the D3football.com Top 25 poll. The complete rankings are available here.

DePauw returns 15 starters from last year's 8-2 team which finished the season with four straight wins including a 36-14 victory at second-ranked Wabash in the annual Monon Bell game.

The Tigers open the 2009 season on Saturday at Anderson with kickoff slated for 7 p.m. The season opener can be heard on WGRE (91.5 FM). Complete game notes will be available later in the week.
