DePauw opened the home portion of its Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference schedule with a 2-0 win over Centre College to improve to 7-3 overall and 2-1 in the SCAC. The Colonels dropped to 4-4-1 overall and 0-3 in the SCAC.

 

Andrew Penalva scored at 24:!0 on an assist from Blake Porter before Evan Shook added the second score on Craig Lippincott's assist at 40:25.

 

The shutout was the Tigers' third of the season as DePauw held its ninth opponent to one or fewer goals in a game this year. Wes Molyneaux recorded five saves in the win.

 

DePauw returns to action on Saunday when they host Sewanee.
