Four Tigers named to SCAC 15th Anniversary Team

November 21, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - Three former DePauw student-athletes and one current were named to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference 15th Anniversary Team.

Forward J.R. Foster, midfielder Craig Lippincott, defender Page Cotton and goalkeeper Adam Lux earned spots on the 22-player team. The complete team is available here.

Foster is DePauw's all-time leader in goals (48), assists (27) and total points (123). His 123 points scored ranks seventh on the SCAC career chart. The three-time First Team All-SCAC performer played on two NCAA Tournament teams and his senior season (2001), he led the Tigers to a share of its first SCAC men's soccer title.

Lippincott, the only active player named to the list, has been a First Team All-SCAC selection his first three years in the league. The senior ranks second in school history with 24 career assists, has 24 career assists, fourth with 20 goals and fourth with 64 points.

Cotton was a three-time All-SCAC honoree for DePauw and finished his career with 13 goals, four assists and 30 points. As a junior in 2002, he moved to the midfield and tied for the team lead in scoring with seven goals and two assists for 16 points.

Lux was a junior when DePauw when the Tigers entered the SCAC in 1998 and he earned First Team All-SCAC honors both of his seasons in the league. His two-year goals against average while in the SCAC was 0.83 - good for seventh all-time in conference history. Lux finished his four-year career with a GAA of 0.84.

The SCAC’s 15th Anniversary teams were selected in each sport through balloting by present coaches and administrators. Athletes who participated in conference competition between the fall of 1991 through the spring of 2004 and had been named to at least two All-SCAC teams were eligible for selection.
