Adam Cohen enters his 25th season as DePauw's head men's swimming and diving coach.

Cohen's swimmers have scored at the NCAA Division III Championships in 18 of the 24 seasons with the Tigers finishing a program-best 11th in 2008. DePauw teams have finished in the top 20 at the Division III Championships eight times during Cohen's tenure and four in the last five years.

In 13 seasons of Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference competition from 1999-2011, the Tigers finished no worse than second and captured seven titles including the last six. Cohen earned SCAC Coach of the Year honors in 2000 and 2003 and his staff was named the conference's staff of the year in 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2011.

In 1998, DePauw won the Indiana Collegiate Athletic Conference in its final year in the league and Cohen was the conference's coach of the year.

Cohen came to DePauw in 1987 as a graduate assistant for both the men's swimming and diving and football programs and was named the head men's swimming and diving coach in 1988. He continued to assist in football through the 1990 season.

Prior to DePauw, the Cleveland, Ohio, native taught and coached for three years at Perkiomen School in Pennsburg, Pa. As an English instructor for the 10th, 11th and 12th grades, Cohen designed a coursee in American literature. He also served as an assistant football and swimming coach, a head coach of the diving team and head coach of the girl's swim team.

A 1984 graduate of Washington & Jefferson College, Cohen earned a B.A. in English and psychology and was involved in student government, serving as president during his senior year. He also earned an M.A.T. in English education from DePauw.

Cohen also serves as part-time coordinator of the Center for Spiritual Life and a part-time instructor in kinesiology. Active in the community, he has served as president of the Big Walnut Sports Park and is a member of the Greencastle City Council.
