Sophomore Marshall Kuresman opened play in the NCAA Division III Singles Championship at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minn., with a three-set loss to Connor Smith of Mary Washington. Kuresman won the first set 6-4 before dropping the second 6-4 and the third 6-1. He finished the season with a 20-10 singles record.
