October 13, 2006, Fort Myers, Fla. - The doubles team of Scott Swanson and Evan Webeler split its Friday matches and finished third at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III Men's Double Championship.
In the semifinals, they lost to the team of William Ellison and David Oehm from Claremont-Mudd-Scripps by a 6-2, 6-2 score before coming back to beat Mike Burdakin and Charlie Paukert of Gustavus Adolphus in the third-place match 6-3, 6-0.
